Conference Aims
The ICET (International Conference on Education and Technology) is an international academic event to create an environment for researchers and practitioners to discuss cutting-edge studies, best practices, methodologies and solutions in the field of education and technology including AI and other technological innovations.
The ICET conference aims to serve as a multidisciplinary platform for scholars and practitioners to exchange ideas and research findings on the evolving relationship between education and technology. The conference seeks to raise awareness about advancements in educational technology, pedagogical approaches, implications of AI, particularly in response to global challenges and transformations. It also provides a platform for experts to share their experiences and ideas for improving professional development and fostering international collaboration.

Conference Chronology
- 2018 – Launching PATME 2018 as the first international conference on Education and technology as “Pedagogical Advances in Technology-Mediated Education”, Istanbul, Turkey; “
- 2019 – PATME 2019, 2nd International Conferences attended by the participants from Netherlands, Morocco, Algeria, Iran, Israel, Turkey, Pakistan and other countries;
- 2019 – Agreement with Warwick University (UK) on organising PATME 2020 in collaboration with the university and in its premises;
- 2020 – PATME 2020, 3rd International Conference and Education and Technology turned into online mode due to the global lockdown;
- 2022 – ICPATME 2022, 4rd Conference on Education and Technology was held in a blended mode with the center in Istanbul, Turkey, and was attended by the participants from UK, China, Morocco, Turkey, Indonesia, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Philippines, USA;
- 2023 – ICPATME 2023, 5th International Conference on Education and Technology organised in collaboration with Akdeniz University (Antaliya, Turkey) and attended by the scholars from Turkey, Morocco, India, Australia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Taiwan and other countries;
- 2024 – ICPATME 2024, 6th International Conference on Education and Technology organiseed in a blended mode with the center in Bursa, Turkey and attended by the researchers from Australia, Turkey, China, Pakistan, Indonesia, India and other countries;
- 2025 – ICPATME 2025, 7th Conference on Education and Technology organised in collaboration with Curtin University (Australia) as a leading organisation and attended by the scholars from Jordan, Australia, Philippines, Turkey, India, Netherlands, and other countries; ICPATME rebranded as ICET;
- 2026 – ICET 2026, 8th International Conference is going to be held in a blended mode with the centre in Istanbul, Turkey and in collaboration with Curtin University (Australia).
