Conference Aims
The ICLTE (International Conference on Language Studies, Translation and Education) is an international academic event aiming to unite researchers and practitioners from the fields of language studies, social sciences, education and related areas to discuss case studies, share experiences as well as explore collaborative opportunities for developing new projects, educational and research frameworks in the fields of languages, education and translation.
The ICLTE conference aims to serve as a multidisciplinary platform for scholars and practitioners to exchange ideas and research findings on the evolving relationship between language studies, translation, and education. The conference seeks to raise awareness about advancements in linguistic research, translation technologies, and pedagogical approaches, particularly in response to global challenges and transformations. It also provides a platform for experts to share their experiences and ideas for improving professional development and fostering international collaboration.

Conference Chronology
- 2018 – Launching LASTE 2018 as the first international conference on language studies, translation and education, Istanbul, Turkey; the conference was attended by the researchers from Pakistan, Bolivia, UK, Netherlands, Ukraine, Turkey, Portugal and other countries;
- 2019 – LASTE 2019, 2nd International Conference on Language Studies, Translation and Education held in Izmit, Turkey, and attended by the scholars from Morocco, Iraq, Jordan, Pakistan, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other countries;
- 2019 – Collaborative Agreement with Malta University (Malta) on organising the conference in collaboration with the university and in its premises;
- 2020 – LASTE 2020, 3rd Conference was turned to an online mode due to the global lockdown and attended virtually by the scholars from USA, UK, Morocco, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkey and other countries;
- 2023 – ICLTE 2023, the 4th International Conference on Language Studies, Translation and Education was held in a blended mode with the centre in Bursa Turkey and attended by the researcher from Netherlands, Albania, Malta, Turkey, India, UK, Morocco and other countries;
- 2025 – ICLTE 2025, 5th Conference on Language Studies, Translation and Education was held in collaboration with University of Management and Technology (Lahore, Pakistan) as a leading organisation and attended by the academicians from Pakistan, Germany, Ukraine, Iraq, Indonesia, India, Netherlands, Nigeria and other countries;
- 2026 – ICLTE 2026, 6th International Conference on Language Studies, Translation and Education is going to be held in collaboration with the universities from Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and other countries.
