Khalid Mahmood

Mr. Khalid Mahmood, a proud recipient of Pakistan’s prestigious Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence), is a distinguished scholar, researcher, and educationist with over two decades of service in public institutions, academia, and international platforms. Renowned for his work in advancing education, research, and inclusive development, he embodies a rare blend of intellectual depth, visionary leadership, and social commitment. His achievements include the UMT Alumni High Performance Achievement Award (2020) and first place in The Three Minute Thesis Competition (2024) at UMT. Mr. Mahmood’s research spans Critical Discourse Analysis, Constitutional Discourse, Institutional Power Dynamics, Gender Studies, Disability Discourse, Eco-linguistics, Education, and Media & War Studies, with impactful publications in HEC-recognized journals and international proceedings. As a Fulbright Specialist Program Fellow (2025–26), he continues to build global academic linkages and inspire change through scholarship, mentorship, and vibrant leadership.

In IATELS, Khalid is an active contributor to enhancing the scope of ICLTE Conference, coordinating the involvement of academicians and students from Pakistan into the programs and courses of IATELS, an active researcher and English language trainer.

Mr. Khalid Mahmood has represented Pakistan on multiple international platforms as a keynote speaker, session chair, and best paper presenter at prestigious conferences in Turkey and beyond. His affiliations include membership in the Academic and Scientific Committee of the International Association for Technology, Education and Language Studies (Turkey), instructional roles with Business Club English-2025 and Speak-Up Internationally-2025, and participation in organizational committees of international conferences. As Faculty of English Language and Healthcare Communication at Allied Health School and visiting faculty at UMT and AIOU, he continues to inspire young professionals through teaching and research, complemented by his leadership experience as Vice President of the UMT Alumni Executive Body (2018–2021).
