Assoc. Prof., Dr. Joseph Anthony Narciso Z. Tiangco (Shu-Te University, Taiwan) specialises in psychology, special education,organisational development, IATELS active Committee member contributing to the conference organisation and their contents.

Dr. Joseph Anthony Narciso Z. Tiangco is a higher education professional, English as a Foreign Language (EFL) educator, and nonprofit leader based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He teaches English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to vocational university students and conducts interdisciplinary research in EFL education, Technology-assisted Language Learning (TALL), business psychology, clinical psychology, and philosophy of social sciences. Dr. Tiangco is the co-founder and actively serves the Taiwan Love and Hope International Charity, which provides residential care and mental health support to abandoned Taiwanese children with severe disabilities. He is passionate about bridging academic knowledge and social impact.

In IATELS, Dr. Tiangco is an active participant of the conferences on language education, psychology and management, promoting new frameworks of the business leadership and social responsibility.

Dr. Joseph Anthony Narciso Z. Tiangco is a higher education professional who is passionate about bridging academic knowledge and social impact. He works in the field of EFL, ESP, and TALL. Moreover, he is the co-founder of the Taiwan Love and Hope International Charity, which provides residential care and psychosocial support for abandoned children with severe disabilities, and the Taiwan International Friendship Association (TIFA), which aims to bridge the gaps between foreigners and Taiwanese in Taiwan and provide services that promote intercultural togetherness, inclusion, fellowship, and advocacy.

My vision is to advance socially conscious educational frameworks that leverage technology to bridge linguistic and cultural divides, and thereby empowering underserved learners and the educators who serve them. My work is dedicated to exploring innovative and equitable approaches in this critical intersection of language, culture, and technology within education”.
