A Comprehensive Overview of the 8th International Conference on Education and Technology
Dates: April 28 – 30, 2026
Platform: Online via Zoom (Istanbul Time Zone – UTC/GMT +3)
Host Institutions: STARTINFORUM (Türkiye), Curtin University (Australia), and Kyiv National Economic University (Ukraine)
Executive Summary
The 8th International Conference on Education and Technology (ICET 2026) served as a premier global platform for researchers, educators, and industry leaders to explore the transformative power of technology in the pedagogical landscape.
Organized by IATELS (International Association for Technology, Education and Language Studies) and hosted by a triad of prestigious institutions across three continents, the conference emphasizes interactive collaboration, ethical AI integration, and the resilience of educational systems in a digital-first era.
Core Themes and Strategic Vision
The conference is built on the philosophy that academic participation is a “way to new projects and collaborative opportunities.” The 2026 agenda focuses heavily on:
-
The Generative AI Revolution: From ethical governance and “AI Translator” models to LLM-assisted language instruction and industry readiness.
-
Resilience and Recovery: Strategies for educational reconstruction, particularly highlighting models for post-war economic and academic recovery.
-
Sustainable Innovation: The intersection of corporate sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) challenges, and AI.
-
Academic Integrity: Addressing the critical challenges language teachers and researchers face in the age of autonomous learning tools.
The “IATELS Interaction” Model
ICET 2026 distinguishes itself through a rigorous set of instructions designed to maximize participant engagement:
-
The 15+5 Rule: Every speaker is allocated 15 minutes for research presentation followed by 5 minutes of intensive live Q&A to ensure active discourse.
-
Collaborative Sessions: The Session Chairs are tasked not just with timekeeping, but with acting as “facilitators of interaction,” actively supporting links between participants for future international projects.
-
Feedback Loops: An open channel for reflective feedback to ensure that the conference continues to evolve according to the needs of the global research community.

ICET 2026 Participants About The Conference
Reflecting on an incredible experience at the 8th International Conference on Education and Technology (ICET 2026)!
I am honored to have shared my research during the Plenary Session, where I presented on “Empowering Low-Resource Educators to Co-Design AI-Supported STEAM Lessons.” It was a privilege to discuss the importance of inclusive, AI-driven strategies and how they can be adapted to support teachers in diverse settings.
The session was met with wonderful engagement and thought-provoking questions, and I am truly grateful for the positive reception from such an esteemed audience of global experts. Engaging with international colleagues from institutions like KNEU and Turkey provided invaluable perspectives on the future of educational technology and global pedagogy.
A heartfelt thank you to Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret and the International Association for Technology, Education and Language Studies (IATELS) for organizing such a significant platform for knowledge exchange.
Thank you ma’am, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Tomayess Issa for arranging the international conference for us.
Such steps actually help us in learning.
Looking forward to implement the learnings. Thank you!
I am privileged to be a part of ICET 2026 — always open for such insightful conferences and opportunities for academic collaboration.
ICET 2026 Workshops

I was delighted to see MGMT6085: Corporate Sustainability Immersion students engage in an exceptional international learning experience yesterday. Through my role on the conference committee for the 8th International Conference on Education and Technology (28–29 April 2026), students were invited to participate—via complimentary registration—in the special track “Sustainability Awareness: The Intersection of AI and Global Responsibility.” Between 6:15–8:20 pm, our students presented team-based projects on: Energy awareness and sustainability; Sustainability awareness in education; The AI–sustainability connection; Pollution, waste awareness, and sustainability Their presentations were outstanding and warmly received by an international audience. Feedback consistently highlighted the quality of content, clear structure, strong visual design, and future‑oriented solution thinking, reaffirming that Curtin University students are well prepared for global and professional leadership. Student reflections captured the impact beautifully: “I never imagined I would have the opportunity to present internationally as part of my unit. This was a truly unique and valuable experience.” “Thank you for organising such a meaningful and highly valuable activity.” These outcomes strongly demonstrate how MGMT6085 is achieving its learning outcomes by providing authentic, globally connected learning experiences. I would like to express my gratitude to Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mahdi, Prof. Dr. Denys Ilnytskyy, and Dr. Maryam Almahdi for their assistance yesterday. My sincere thanks to Dr Mahnaz Hall and Dr Lydia for their invaluable support, and congratulations to our students for representing Curtin University so proudly on an international stage.

Congratulations, my dear Tomayess! As always, a complete success. This unit is incredibly important in our lives, not just for our education, but because it helps us become more human and more mindful of caring for our environment
